Horizon is our bluest goat. She and her twin sister Oreo came from Jacob Verspeek's breeding . Horizon is second in command of all the does next to her sister. She is really friendly and loves veggies!

TWILIGHT

We purchased our first fainting goat, Twilight, from Flevohill Acres as a Father's Day present for my husband in 2011.

He was farming with his brother at that time and had purebred Holsteins so the goat he selected of course needed to be black & white in colour to match the cows. Twilight also struts pretty "moon spots" on her sides. She loves to eat and is the first to retreat back to the barn pronto when something scary appears in the field.

Oreo is Horizon's twin sister. Oreo is the "boss" of all the same aged does. She is very vocal when it is feeding time.
She may appear to be more dominate with the other does but with humans she’s always very happy to stop for back scratches!

Flevohill Acres Freida Fainting Goat — FLEVOHILL ACRES FREIDA

We purchased Freida and her 2018 doeling, Felicia in Aug 2018 and they have been an absolute pleasure! Freida is an excellent mom. To date she has had three sets of twins so we are hopeful she will continue her trend! Freida was born at another farm on a VERY cold March day and lost the ends of both her ears so she looks like a Lamancha!

Flevohill Magic Fainting Goat Ontario — flevohill Magic Spell

Magic is our largest of our young does. She was a single and left with her mother on milk so she grew and grew! She is a bit more timid but once you have earned her trust she is quite sweet. She comes from a long line of "spells" as her grandmother is "Faint Hope Acres Casta Spell" and her mother "Faint Hope Acres Spell Bound" so we decided to keep the spell alive.

FLEVOHILL ACRES PECAN

This little lady such a blast! We picked her name based on their mom “P”eggy and dad “P”icasso plus our added theme going in with names stemming from food! Pecan did have horns when she was born but unfortunately, being the nosy one, got caught in the fence and had to have both horns removed by the vet! If you ever need a snuggle this little lady is fit for the job!

My hubby purchased Luna and her daughter Lilly from Turtle Mountain in the summer of 2024. She is my 120lb lap goat. I sit with her at night in her pen and after several minutes for back scratches she deposits herself down in my lap! And she loves hugs. I have never had a goat this attached in all the years but for some reason soon after she arrived and warmed up to us this is “her thing”. She definitely has me wrapped around her little hoof! Her pedigree is impressively long with lots of U.S.A. bloodlines.

I am excited to see her as a new mom as I think she will be a kind and gentle soul and terrific mother.

Miss Marley is a sweet and very pregnant doe in the picture. Marley is a triplet herself. She is my shadow and is quite vocal to say “hello” when she sees people. Marley truly is more like a puppy so I am so happy that I can now say we have our own “Marley & Me” relationship! Her pedigree is impressively long with lots of U.S.A. bloodlines.

We were so excited when this little girl was born in 2025. Daughter of Turtle Mountain Fainters Marley and “home grown” with our buck Island Dobby she sure is a looker. Think she looks a bit like her grandpa Acres of Fun Spectacular Graffiti. She was also born on Shelley’s birthday and has a beautiful icy blue eyes. What more could a girl ever ask for!!!!!

Island Ginny Marrs

We bought Ginny from Island in the U.S.A in 2022. She has always been on the smaller size so we decided not to breed her until she was 3.5 years of age. In 2025 we had a very tiny doeling born that could not stay with her mom so Ginny Marrs became a substitute mom for the babe. She took immediately to the little doeling! She we are very excited to see her raise her own babies in 2026. Ginny is a super kind doe and best friends with Pecan.

Helmcrest Wooden Legs Moonshadow & Sugar

Shadow

Helmcrest Wooden Legs Shadow is the first doeling that we retained from our own breeding. We knew as soon as she was born with her beautiful markings and “eye shadow” that she was staying on our farm. She was also born (30) minutes after the power came back on on a chilly Mar night at 1:00am. I had setup for her delivery using lanterns and prepared to whisk her away into the house to get her dried off and try and keep her warm without any heat lamps. Luckily for Shadow the power snapped back on just before her mom went into labor! Her mother, Flevohill Acres Freida, is still an important member of own breeding program and is the “boss doe” in the herd hierarchy. We also have another daughter off of Freida in our breeding lineup so this family adds strength to bred.

Helmcrest Wooden Legs Moon Shadow was named because she was born with “moon spots” so we wanted to pick a name that played on the “moon” name. I also love the song “Moonshadow” by Cat Stevens so it was an easy choice!

Sugar id s little spit fire and Shadow’s first offspring. In 2025 we decided to keep two of our doelings to add to our herd and Sugar was a fantastic addition. She sticks to her mother very closely unless there are treats being offered by humans! We are excited to watch her grow and looking forward to having her for our farm!
